Grawn is an unincorporated rural area in southern Grand Traverse County, roughly between Traverse City and Interlochen. Properties here tend to run larger — wooded acreage with room to build, expand, or add outbuildings. The area is almost entirely full-time residential, with homeowners who bought land specifically to build the way they want without the density of township subdivisions closer to TC.
