Interior Work
The details that make a house feel finished — trim that fits tight, cabinets that hang level, and remodels done by someone who cares how it looks when it's done.
Interior Finish Work
"Finish work is where craftsmanship is either visible or invisible. Good carpenters make it invisible."
Structural work holds a house up. Finish work is what you see every single day — the gap between a casing and a jamb, the reveal on a cabinet door, the way a piece of base molding sits tight against an uneven floor. These are the details that separate a professional finish from something that just looks done.
Gerhard & Sons approaches interior finish work with the same care as everything else we do. Whether it's installing a set of kitchen cabinets, running trim through a new construction, or taking on a full kitchen or bathroom remodel — we do it right, and we take pride in how it looks when we're finished.
What's Included
Kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, and laundry room cabinetry installed level, plumb, and properly secured. Scribing to walls that aren't straight, shimming boxes that need it, and fitting everything so it looks like it belongs there.
Baseboards, door casings, window casings, crown molding, chair rail, and wainscoting. Cut tight, nailed clean, coped where it needs to be — the kind of work that holds up without caulk hiding every gap.
Full room remodels coordinated from demo through finish — framing changes, cabinet layout, new fixtures, and trim. We work with your material selections and handle the carpentry and construction side of the project.
Built-in shelving, mudroom lockers, closet systems, entertainment centers, and storage solutions that are sized for the space and integrated into the room rather than sitting in front of it.
